  • Determine cause and extent of moisture intrusion damage including degrading effects on building materials.
  • Evaluation of structural collapse events to determine cause and extent of damage.
  • Inspection of existing structures for wind, tree fall, vehicle impact, seismic or fire damage.
  • Evaluation of foundations, retaining walls, concrete slabs and buried utilities to determine cause and extent of soil and/or structure settlement damage.
  • Determine whether existing buildings and other structures conform to building code, safety and accessibility standards.
  • Analysis of extent of damage, if safe for continued use, scope of repair and design repairs if necessary.
  • Moisture Intrusion / Decay
    Evaluation of cause and extent of moisture intrusion damage including degrading effects on building materials.
    Inspection of exterior building envelopes for moisture intrusion paths at roof coverings, chimneys, walls, windows, doors and other penetrations.
    Evaluation of proper use of components and construction of building materials per building code, industry standards and manufacturers specifications.
    Inspection for interior sources of moisture intrusion such as leakage at plumbing service/drain piping, fittings, fixtures, appliances and damage from frozen pipes and sprinkler systems.
    Includes evaluation of other moisture sources such as crawl space or slab moisture and humidity.
  • Collapse
    Evaluation of structural collapse events to determine cause and extent of damage.
    Where no collapse has occurred, determine whether damaged elements are safe and repairable or if collapse is imminent.
    Includes evaluation of components and sub-systems such as exterior decks, roof truss erection collapse and roof cave-in during snow and heavy rain events.
  • Wind and Fire Damage
    Evaluation of existing structures for wind, tree fall, vehicle impact, seismic or fire damage.
    Determine extent of damage, if safe for continued use, scope of repair and to design repairs if necessary.
  • Settlement
    Evaluation of existing structures such as foundations, retaining walls, slabs and buried utilities to determine cause and extent of soil and/or structure settlement damage, if safe for continued use and to determine scope of repair and to design repairs if necessary.

    Evaluation of buildings and other structures including utilities with respect to proper use of building materials and construction per building code and manufacturers specifications.
